The patient comes to a primary consult, with a panoramic x-ray based on which a treatment plan will be elaborated.
The doctor will indicate a CT (a tomograph scan), in order to see the place where we want the implant in 3D. Then, the implant will be inserated, inside the bone. Now, the doctor will see and decide wether a bone augmentation is necessary or not, and do as it has to be done. The cost is 850 euro, depending on the quality of the implant, and if the bone augmentation is necessary, between 500-1000 euro will be added. After a healing period of 4 months, the patient comes back with a new x-ray. At this moment, a healing abutment will be placed, in order to heal the gums so that the crown can be inserted. The cost for the healing abutment is included in the price of the implant. After one week, the impression is taken and in aprox 7 working days, the crown will be ready. For medical resons, the crown will not be cemented, but placed with a special screw.
The crown can be full-ceramic or zirconia – the best materials on the market at the moment. The cost for the crown is 550 euros.
